Who we are
Playtime613 makes fun, Yiddish-flavored games for children and is run by Yossi Freundlich. Contact us at hi@playtime613.com or on WhatsApp at +44 7854 727738.
What data we collect
We take privacy seriously, especially because our games are made for children.
- The games on this website don’t ask for a name, email address or account. Times Trial lets children type a first name or nickname to save their scores. It is stored only on the child’s own device and is never sent to us.
- The Playtime613 app keeps each child’s name and progress on your own PC.
- When you buy the app, the checkout is run by our online payment provider, which takes your email address and payment details to process the order and send your license key. We receive your name, email address and order details. We never see your card details.
- To check that a license is valid, the app sends the license key and an anonymous ID for the PC. It sends nothing about your children.
- If you arrive through a friend’s or partner’s link (with
?ref=), your browser remembers that code for 30 days so the referral can be credited if you buy. It is stored on your device only. - We don’t use cookies for advertising.
- To see which games are popular, each game page also sends our own site a simple anonymous count (for example “Times Trial was opened”, “taster finished”, “Get the app clicked”). Only the game name, the event and the date are stored: no IP address, no cookies, nothing about the child.
The Playtime613 Android app
- The Android app is published on Google Play by Flash Photography NE Ltd, the company behind Playtime613. You can reach us about it at hi@playtime613.com.
- The Android app (from Google Play) shows the same games as this website. It has no ads, no chat, no accounts and no sign-in, and it does not ask for a child’s name, email address or location.
- Inside the Android app we do not use Google Analytics and no cookie banner is shown. The same anonymous game counts described above (game name, event and date only) and a cookie-free page-view counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics) are the only usage information sent.
- Unlocking all the games in the Android app is a purchase made through Google Play. Google handles the payment and the account; we never see card details, names or email addresses for these purchases. The app only asks Google Play whether this device’s Google account has the unlock, and keeps a small “unlocked” note on the device.
- Purchases are for grown-ups: Google Play asks for the account holder’s approval, and parents can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play at any time.
- If you leave your email address in the “Android app coming soon” box on our homepage, we keep it only to email you about the Android app, and we never share or sell it. To have it removed, email hi@playtime613.com.
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal information, please contact us at hi@playtime613.com and we will deal with it promptly.
Cookies and Google Analytics
If you agree, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which games families enjoy. It counts things like pages viewed, games started, “Get the app” clicks and completed orders, along with the type of device and approximate region. It does not tell us who you are, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Google Analytics stores cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_…) so it can tell a new visit from a returning one. They last up to two years. Google processes this data for us; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookies are set until you tap “Accept”. If you tap “Reject”, Google Analytics is not used at all. Your choice is remembered on your device (in its local storage, not a cookie) so we don’t ask again.
You can change your mind at any time: (also at the bottom of every page). If you switch to “Reject”, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites, including pickle-boy.com, naki.audio and 24six.app. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
If you are in the United Kingdom, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
